This policy explains what information Kirkby, White Consulting LLC (“Kirkby Consulting”, “we”, “us”) collects through kirkbyconsulting.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question about it, email hello@kirkbyconsulting.com.
Information you give us
- Contact and scoping call form: your name, email address, phone number, store URL, revenue range and message.
- Shopify B2B setup guide: your name, email address, phone number, store URL and revenue range.
- Free store audit: the store URL you enter. To unlock the full report, you also give us your name, email address and revenue range.
- Booking a call: if you book a time through our scheduling tool, the details you enter there.
Information collected automatically
- Hosting and security: our site runs on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and basic request data to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is submitting them.
- Visitor analytics: we use lemlist website visitor tracking, Aergos and Searchable Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people find us, including visits from AI assistants. These tools may use your IP address to identify the company you work for. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) so we can improve the site. - Embedded content: our Clutch reviews widget loads from Clutch’s servers, which receive your IP address when the page loads. Our fonts are hosted on our own site.
Some of these tools use cookies or similar technologies. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry, schedule calls and prepare proposals.
- To send you the guide or audit report you asked for.
- To follow up about our services. Every follow-up email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to stop them.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To keep the site and our forms safe from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site and respond to you:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, our audit database and bot protection.
- Resend: sending emails, including form notifications, audit reports and the B2B guide.
- lemlist: visitor tracking, call scheduling and email.
- Aergos: website analytics.
- Clutch: embedded reviews.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to a buyer or successor if our business is sold or merged.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and audit records for as long as we need them to respond to you, work with you and keep reasonable business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Depending on where you live, for example the EU, the UK or California, you may have further rights under local privacy law. To make a request, email hello@kirkbyconsulting.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Client store data
This policy covers our website. When we work on a client’s Shopify store, how we handle that store’s data is set out in our agreement with the client.
Where your data is processed
We are based in the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
Children
Our site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
