Accessibility Statement

Last updated

This statement explains how accessible kirkbyconsulting.com is, what we do to keep it that way, and how to report a problem. We build accessible Shopify stores for our clients, and we hold our own website to the same standard. Our goal is for kirkbyconsulting.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we do

  • Every page has a “Skip to content” link and a logical heading structure.
  • The whole site can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Animations are turned off for visitors whose device is set to reduce motion.
  • Every form field has a label that screen readers announce.
  • We do not use an accessibility overlay widget. We fix accessibility in the code itself.

Known limitations

Some parts of the site come from third parties and are outside our direct control. These are the Clutch reviews widget, our call booking tool and the Cloudflare Turnstile check on our forms. If any of them causes you a problem, contact us and we will help you another way, for example by booking your call over email.

Report a problem

If you find something on our site that is hard to use, please tell us. Email hello@kirkbyconsulting.com with the page and the problem, or call +1 (704) 345-8232. A co-founder reads every report, and we aim to reply within two business days.
